Find Live Music in SL

There are several ways to find live music in SL, most events are announced with enough time to suit your schedule.
One way is using the "Search' tab in the viewer. While in Search, click on "Events' Tab and find "Live Music" in Categories. All listed events will be presented for you, with a brief description, a link to teleport and the appropriate time.
You will also find the content rating. It can be PG, Mature or Adult. You'll have to use the proper viewer for Adult zone, or Zindra continent.

and...If you are not in_world...

You can login to your SL account. While your dashboard, Go to Community, then Events.
Please Select Live Music and there you have it :-) You can even filter the results via drop-down menus.
Click on any Event, and its description will appear at top right, under 'Selected Event'.
Clicking on " ...more..." will take you to SLurl.

..and there are some noises we can control.


How to override the Typing animation

Nowadays is easier than ever to override the typing animation. To do that, Go to Preferences, find the Text Chat tab, and uncheck Play typing Animation When Chatting box.
Then click on Apply and you are done.

On the other hand, if you like your typing animation, it is considered polite to use a slash before writing on chat. Your text will be seen, without the noise :-)

To Listen to music in SL is easy

Look at the bottom right of your screen look for music note ..do you have a music control box?


If you do and don't hear music ...try turning it on ..you may have to toggle it few times....if you still don't hear then a relog is prolly the best thing to do

If you DON'T have the music control box at the bottom of your screen.

Go to EDIT at top of screen ..down to preferences at bottom of menu.

Then find the tab says audio and check ONLY the "play streaming music." If you check the play streaming video u will lag pretty bad and if u want to watch a video turn it on then :)

Then turn on the music and enjoy!

*If u dont have music and the control is on the screen ...toggle it and if that dont work relogging usually takes care of it..other than that check speakers/pc volume control you might have a mute.
